Project Death Guard is Underway !

Aaaand there it is folks. The first installment from my mission to photograph and upload my Death Guard army - aswell as complete some mega models ive recently aquired i.e Greater unclean one , titan ! etc - is up and rolling ! Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think !

Death Guard Army Update

Hey guys !
Just a quick update on the promised Death Guard army. After clocking off work I went and printed a backdrop for the models, then began snapping some pics ! I have them all on my PC and it's just a matter of getting time to crop and edit them into single deviations. With any luck I will have the very first submitted within the next few days. THis weekend is going to be crazy busy with work and personal commitments but next week is pretty quiet.
Either way, COMING SOON ! Very soon. Massively soon. Matter of fact, it might be peeeking at you around the corner..

I touched on this before but now am going to try and get it done. Over the last few years my Warhammer40k Chaos Death Guard army has expanded pretty rapidly and I worked on it in parts when I could. I'll have to do the math but a helldrake, obliterators, some cultists an a WARHOUND TITAN ( oh yeah, thats right) ago , it stood at around 3000pts.
My painting skills have developed pretty rapidly over the last year and I have been experimenting with more ways to paint. I have already uploaded my older Forgefiend ( Which like basically everything in the army is converted in one way or another ) , however I have changed the way it was based a little with more Ice and Slime details, so I'll be uploading a new one when I start uploading this project.
The Warhound Titan I managed to procure just this morning so that will likely be a while off as It needs to arrive from over seas, I need to assemble it with concrete glue and heavy pinning, then add my conversion touches, and paint.
To give you an idea of how big this army is some of what it features is over 35 plague marines, 2 helldrakes, a land raider, predator , warp talons and raptors, some bikers, 30 cultists, TYPHUS , 2 Nurgle daemon princes ( converted nicely ) etc.
If you are interested in this project be sure to check back from time to time, I can't guarantee how frequently a submission will appear but I will try to get around Work and obligations to setup and take some snaps and commence !

Hey guys,
I know I seem to have come and gone here on DA for many years and thats because life has been crazy. In this time i've worked 4 different jobs having to relocate temporarily for 1 , as well as family,friend and personal misfortune. HOWEVER ! Thing are on the up and up as I commence my new career in a few months which has taken about 16 months on a waiting list and 6 months of testing but is finally MINE ! YAAAAY!
However I really do want to get back on here. Even though my traditional art has ground to a halt a long time ago, my Warhammer 40k addiction is in full swing.
With this in mind ( You've all seen my Death Guard forgefiend ) , I am planning to put up in parts my Death Guard army, which now stands at over 3000pts strong and was recently involved in a 10,500+pt match at my local GW
.
I'll be throwing up another post with more details, but I just wanted to say to those still following ( for what ever reason xD ) THANKS and look forward to great things to come !

A few days ago I Purchased a Wacom Bamboo Manga graphics tablet. I've always wanted to get a handle on the wonders of Digital art, and because I now have a lot more free time on my hands merging into a new career ( with a long ass waiting list for intakes ), Decided WHY NOT !
As usual... I started sketching a simple design or object, and then just got carried away.
It is non other then INVADER ZIM! ... Using a Picture I had of him as a reference, I free hand drew him , then free hand drew in an Invader Zim-Esque background. All on the tablet of course, using Corel Painter Essentials 4 which came with it.
Check it out and please feel free to leave comments or critique, Best way to learn.
